“Still Here”

“Still Here” is a poignant expression of resilience and defiance, capturing the quiet strength that
endures in the face of adversity. Against a grungy, textured backdrop—symbolizing the
harshness of a world that can often feel unkind—a single pink flower rises from the center, a
delicate yet powerful testament to survival. This painting speaks to the unwavering spirit of
those who continue to stand tall despite the weight of oppression, echoing the bold declaration,
“I’m still here.” It is a celebration of perseverance, a reminder that even in the most challenging
of times, life finds a way to bloom.

”She Heals”

“She Heals” embodies the strength, wisdom, and unwavering care of the healers and medicine
women who stand as guardians for their communities. Set against a vibrant red backdrop, the
painting features a woman with long purple hair and striking gold earrings, her stoic expression
reflecting the deep power and resilience within. Her presence is a symbol of the quiet force that
nurtures, protects, and restores, channeling ancient knowledge to heal both body and spirit.
This piece honors the sacred role of those who serve as healers, reminding us of their vital
contributions in times of both peace and struggle.

“Breathe”

“Breathe” captures the overwhelming weight of mental health struggles, visualizing the
desperate need for release and relief. At the heart of the piece, the word breathe is boldly
etched across the center, serving as both a reminder and a plea for respite—a simple yet
profound call to pause, inhale, and find a moment of stillness amidst the storm. This painting is
an intimate exploration of the emotional turmoil many face, and a quiet, urgent plea for healing
through the act of breathing, grounding, and remembering one’s inherent strength.

“Listen”

“Listen” is a powerful visual call to action, urging us to tune in to the voices that are often
ignored or silenced by society. Against a dynamic, abstract backdrop, an expressive figure
holds a speaking bubble that boldly proclaims, “¡Escuchar siempre al pueblo!”—”Listen to the
people.” This piece serves as a reminder that true, liberating change begins when we
acknowledge and amplify the voices of those who are marginalized and oppressed. It
challenges us to hear, understand, and act on the needs and wisdom of the people,
emphasizing that collective power lies in the stories and struggles of the many, not just the few.

“In Right Relationship”

“In Right Relationship” is a powerful reflection on the need to reconnect with the Earth and its
creation in a harmonious and sustainable way. The figure standing atop the mount with arms
outstretched embodies the call to live in balance with nature, as the sun shines and birds soar

overhead, symbolizing the renewal and vitality that comes from nurturing our planet. The earthy
tones of the painting ground us in the reality of the land we are striving to protect. This piece is a
reminder that reversing the impacts of climate change begins with altering our relationship to the
land, embracing a path of respect, responsibility, and reciprocity. It is a visual plea to heal and
restore our connection with the Earth, not just for ourselves, but for all future generations.
